Privacy Statement
On any given day Maryhurst serves over 200 children. Throughout various programs children, who range in age from 6 - 18, stay with us an average of 6 months. As you can imagine, we are always in need of support and assistance.
Without a doubt, financial support is always welcomed as we work to meet the ever changing and constant needs of those in our care. The support we receive from the community has enabled Maryhurst to grow into the agency it is today, serving children and families in greatest need.
There are many ways in which you can help Maryhurst children and families. You may contribute by making a donation by check or credit card, donating a gift of stock securities, including Maryhurst in your insurance policy or remembering Maryhurst in your will.
We also ask that businesses remember us by donating items to sporting events, restaurants, weekend getaways, and by providing gift certificates for various types of entertainment. These items can be used in our annual fund raising events as well as in providing activity options for children in our care.
Please keep the work of Maryhurst in mind as you plan your charitable contributions. No donation is too small and every gift counts.

There is a new, tax-advantaged way to give to the causes you care about. Signed into law on August 17, the Pension Protection Act of 2006 (H.R. 4) allows seniors to “roll over” IRA assets of up to $100,000 per year to a qualified public charity, free from tax. You can even use this new method to establish a permanent legacy during your lifetime.
• You must be at least 70½ years old at the time the gift is made,
• The IRA charitable rollovers will be allowed in 2006 and 2007 only,
• The gifts may not be from any other type of retirement plan.
