Volunteering at Maryhurst
 
Are you interested in volunteering with Maryhurst?  Do you have a special talent or hobby you would like to share with our children?  Please take some time to look at the Volunteer Opportunities listed on the left side of this page.
New Volunteer Program coming to Maryhurst!
Maryhurst is currently working on developing a Mentoring program at Maryhurst. The mentoring program will match our children with qualified adult mentors in a relationship that will build trust and positive modeling. The commitment will be eight hours a month for one year. Mentors will be able to take their mentee's on outings and off campus activities. An application, screening, interview process and four hour training will be required for mentors. Please contact liz.nickley@maryhurst.org if you are interested!
 
The next Volunteer Orientation is scheduled for Wednesday August 25th 6:00-8:00pm.  The Volunteer Orientation will be held in the Activities Center Training Room on the Dorsey Lane campus. Please call or email Liz Nickley to RSVP.
 
The Volunteer orientation is mandatory for most volunteer opportunities and encouraged for all others. For large groups, our orientation can be taken to your worksite, church, etc.

Once complete, the application may be returned by any of the following methods:

* Please be sure to fill out and sign all areas that require your signature. There is also a volunteer reference form that you can have a friend, co-worker, or relative fill out and sign for you. Please note that background screening fees are paid by Maryhurst.
