Thanks to the following individuals and groups who have recently helped us:

Texas Roadhouse |
-
More than 60 volunteers from Texas Roadhouse's corporate office came to Maryhurst April 22 for a day-long service project. The volunteers painted one of the dorms for teenage girls on our Dorsey Lane campus, planted flowers around the dorm, and brought new mirrors and dry-erase boards for the girls to use in their recreation room. Thank you, Texas Roadhouse!

Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield |
-
More than 50 volunteers turned out for Anthem's Building Healthy Communities Service Day Project Saturday, April 19. Anthem associates beautified Maryhurst's Dorsey Lane campus by painting one of the girls' dorms and tending to landscaping needs, including planting flowers around several dorms and our Good Shepherd Center. Following the company's health-related theme, the volunteers brought pedometers and water bottles for every girl on campus, and trained a team of girls in how to properly use the pedometers. Thank you, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield!
