Madeline’s Cottage Updates
The focal point of the capital efforts will be the construction of Madeline’s Cottage, named in honor of long-time board member and untiring ambassador Madeline Abramson. Having been associated with Maryhurst for more than twenty years, Madeline has gone to great lengths to share our children’s story in the community and advocate for the work we are privileged to do here. It is fitting this new cottage bear her name as she holds a very special place in her heart for Maryhurst and the girls in our care.
Madeline’s Cottage will include residential and treatment space for adolescent girls who have suffered unimaginable abuse. As the oldest child welfare agency in Kentucky, Maryhurst ends the cycle of abuse through treatment and education allowing our girls to positively impact society.
Construction is finally complete for “Madeline’s Cottage” named in honor of long time board member and Maryhurst advocate, Madeline Abramson and we want you to see it!
