We never want transportation or busy schedules to be a barrier to getting help. The team at Renewal is available to meet with you in the most appropriate setting based on your needs. We provide in-home and in-school counseling as well as appointments at our West End (Portland), South Louisville (Shively), and East End (Middletown) locations.
The Office of Violence Prevention at Metro Louisville has joined forces with Maryhurst Renewal in a collaboration to reach local individuals in need of mental health counseling and life assistance. At the core of this effort are trained counselors who play an important role in assisting individuals with issues that negatively impact their lives: toxic stress, behavioral/emotional matters, marital, rehabilitative, and educational issues, among others.
Community Support Associates (CSAs) are behavioral health and wellbeing specialists who work directly with individuals and their families in homes and in other community settings (i.e. schools, neighborhood centers, public agencies, etc). CSAs are experts in the "trauma informed" approach to care, which customizes services to each individual and emphasizes therapeutic tools such as de-escalation, stress management, etc.
