In one of our favorite September traditions, staff from Maryhurst recently attended Beauties vs. The Beast, a paired ladies golf scramble hosted at Persimmon Ridge. As participants arrived, they visited the Maryhurst table to drop off personal care goods, snacks, and other much-needed items from our donation drive list.
After they finished the 18-hole course, the ladies reconvened for a raffle and luncheon benefiting our programs.
We’d like to send a special thanks to the tournament participants and sponsors. In particular, Joyce Leonberger and the event planning committee help to make this event what it is – and title sponsor Carpet Specialists have been especially generous with contributions and matching funds.
Thanks, all! If you’d like to start your own third-party event for Maryhurst, visit this page.
