Inspirational speaker series: Attica Scott visits Maryhurst

The state representative spoke about trials, tribulations, and pursuing justice

Kiddos in our residential program – and, really, all of us! – are each day finding new ways to take control of their voices. What passions can we work on achieving? What changes do we want to see, and how do we get there? These were the questions that our guest speaker, State Representative (and congressional hopeful) Attica Scott, encouraged her audience to consider when she came to speak at Maryhurst Academy this week. It was an inspiring talk: shout out to all the school staff who helped organize and staff the discussion!

Check out these photos from the event below, and if you have an idea for a future speaker, please feel free to reach out to info@maryhurst.org
